I find this a good balanced army, v good assault and v good firepower. (I have a LR because everyone thinks there are Termies in it!!!)

This is what i've I have put together after a couple of games. I'll play test it tomorrow vs. a Nid genestealer swarm and see how it does.
HQ Chaplin with jump pack. Bolt Pistol.
TROOPS 1. 10 man tactical squad with rocket launcher (don't call them the mis****) in Rhino 1. 5 man Assault Squad- Power fist, rest with bp's and chainswords.
ELITES- 1. Ven. Furioso Death Company Dread. Extra Armor. Drop Pod. Heavy Flamer.
2x. 5 man Vet. Assault Squad. 1 Thunder Hammer. 2 Power Weapons. All with Combat Shields.
1. 9 man Death Company all in jump packs (squad is lead by chaplin)
FAST ATTACK 2x Land Speeder Squadron. 2 Assault Cannons. 2 Multi Melta's 1 with Typhoon Launcer.
HEAVY 1 Vindicator.
I love my land speeder's, them and the Death Company have been the backbone of my army in the games I have played recently. I was just using 1 squad of 3 speeders, but this set up gives me the extra Typhoonado and I lessen the amount of victory points my opponent can get if I lose a speeder. The MM's are for anti Tank/ANTI MC. The assault cannons anti everything. The typhoons missles Help out with mobbed troops. I have been finishing my games with 2/3 of my speeder squad intact. So I hope this continues.
I really like the vetern assault squad's over reg assault squads. With the combat shields they seem to survive a bit better when facing off vs a power weaponed squad or something rending (IE genestealers/Harliquin/death company)
I like the versatility of my jump packed troopers. I guess I just loved the book Starship Troopers. I typically aim I disagreeault guys for my opponents shooty squads. I had sacrificed I disagreeault squads to tie up hard targets just so my Death Company could rip apart the soft underbelly of my opponents army. I will sit and shoot with pistols at 12" out with I disagreeault squads if its something I dont actually want to assault right away ( IE Genestealers, sometimes Grey Knight termies). My plan to deal with genestealers is shoot em, shoot em, shoot em.. make em charge me in cover so we fight simultaneously.
I used to just drop pod my tacticals in. I really really liked that, but I felt that waiting to get them out of reserves was too much of a detriment. I was skimping on getting some rhino's so I never used them and I found that when I just deployed them normally, that my tacticals pretty much sucked and were a non factor in the game. I broke down and got a rhino to put them in this time, so they should do better (I hope, lets go overcharged engines).
I think you pretty much get the idea of what I do with my dread. He's full on close combat. I plan to hit my enemy, engage his front lines, and then pod my Dread in somewhere on his squishies, and let him eat something.
The tactical Squad is my fire support while I get I disagreeault guys up there. Plus the rhino can hopefully distract/block LOS on my Vindicator until it is in range to unload.
I'm Iffy on the Vindicator, but I want some kind of big gun support fire to kill/distract my opponent from y speeders and death company and dread. I was thinking of using a Whirlwind instead. Guess I am just going to play test it some and see. I kind of feel that I am sort of short on shooty models, but my speeders are beefy with 4x assault cannons. They eat things.
Between 4x multimeltas on the fast moving landspeeders I should be able to threaten any Vehicle/MC creature pretty quickly. Also I went with thunderhammer's on my vet squads to mess with vehicles and crap like Nidzilla's. The last time I played I tried to take out CC Carnifax with a 4x PW (no PFist) Honor Guard. It didnt work out so well. I'm thinking thunder hammers will have a better chance to wound (w/ the str increast) and make it so those other power 2 weapons in the squad have a chance to cut something up.
I guess my real big concerns is the low model count and the vindicator. I've read good things about them, but I cant seem to fit the Land Raider Crusader (Or I can't seem to justify it in my head) into my army to better protect my vnidi. I'm banking on my rhino taking some heat off him, and hopefully my Land Speeder's will create enough of a stir that they'll have a hard time prioritzing my vindicator 1st.
Please give me some feed back/response with suggestions.
